 MatriCal introduces weighted lids for SBS/ANSI formatted microplates.
28 May 2009 Matrical Bioscience recently introduced universal weighted lids for standard height SBS/ANSI formatted microplates. These robotics friendly black lids are light tight to protect sensitive assays.
Designed for in-process assays and short to medium term storage for chemical libraries, these weighted lids offer gaskets, a cost effective alternative to difficult-to-remove heat seals. These gaskets are strategically placed at the edge of the wells to reduce the problem of evaporation and offer air/liquid tight well to well seals.
